Social Media Guidelines

1. On any personal and/or business social media page and/or group (the “page” or “pages”) used for Botanic (the “Company”) business or any of its product and/or brands, identify yourself in the ‘Intro’ or ‘Bio’ section or on your profile or cover photo as an Independent Brand Ambassador and include the following disclaimer on your social media page:

“I serve as an Independent Brand Ambassador with Botanic, the opinions and postings on this page are my independent thoughts and opinions and have not been approved or endorsed by Botanic, LLC.’

Official approved Independent Brand Ambassador logos can be found in your GREENHOUSE under Resources.

2. You may post a link to your Company replicated website on your pages, in the ‘Intro’ or ‘Bio’ section and in any advertising you do on your pages.

3. You are allowed to have ONE business page per social media platform per Brand Ambassador. Email compliance@shopbotanic.co with a link to your page. Only pages that have emailed their link to the Compliance Department are allowed. The social media account needs access allowed to the Compliance Department.

4. You are allowed to share any posts which come directly from the Company social media platforms or the Company official website.

5. You may post your own before and after results pictures and others only if permission has been given to do so. You may also share written testimonies as long as permission has been given. Testimonials must by truthful, fair, and not misleading.

All testimonies and pictures shared should have this disclosure visibly clear and conspicuous and identify that you are an Independent Brand Ambassador. You must add this disclaimer:

“Typical results may vary – Independent Brand Ambassador”

6. When posting or sharing any type of testimonials on social media, the FTC requires that if the product or income claim in your testimonial is not what the typical consumer can reasonably achieve you must disclose the ‘generally expected performance’. You must add this disclaimer:

“Typical results unknown – Independent Brand Ambassador”

7. Under NO circumstances will health and/or medical claims and/or income claims be allowed.

8. You may post pictures of the Company products and/or brands on your pages that have been shared on the official Company page. Any advertising created outside of the Company needs to be submitted to the Compliance Department at compliance@shopbotanic.co for approval before being used. Make sure there are no health claims on it.

9. You may post information from the Company about upcoming business opportunity meetings, events, parties, trainings, and conference calls on your pages.

10. You cannot post or offer any incentives for people to order from your page. This includes promotional coupons, giveaways, sweepstakes, or contests.

You are only permitted to share or post official promotional flyers that have been created and offered by the Company. You will most likely have other Brand Ambassadors and possibly their customers, as well, as “friends”.

11. You may not advertise products of other companies on your pages where you advertise your Botanic business, brands, and/or products.

12. Social Media ‘Live’ Videos: In the event that you utilize Live Videos to promote your independent business, you must include a disclaimer that you are an Independent Brand Ambassador and that the statements made within the Live Video posting have not been reviewed by the Company and the Company does not endorse those statements. You must add this disclaimer:

“The statements and opinions expressed herein are my own and should not be attributed to Botanic. These statements have not been approved by or adopted by Botanic. When making any changes to your diet and lifestyle you should consult your medical professional”

13. You are not allowed to share or post any videos or podcasts created by any of the Company’s specialists and/or doctors, which have not been posted by the Company on its official website or any social media platforms or any videos or podcasts that were recorded directly from any Company events.

However, you can share or post any videos or podcasts of the Company specialists and/or doctors, which come directly from the Company’s official website, social media, or communication channels, which links back to the Company social media or website. No comments are allowed to be added to the original post.

14. You are expressly prohibited to post or screenshot, or otherwise copy any communication, emails, notices, or correspondence from any member of the Company, the Support Department, the Compliance Department; or any other employees of the Company to social media; as any direct contact is deemed privileged and confidential information.

15. If someone in your upline contacts you about something questionable on your page, you should remove the post immediately. We are here to look out for the best interest of YOU, the Brand Ambassadors, as well as the Company. Please ask the Compliance Department for any needed guidance compliance@shopbotanic.co.

Please keep your page clean and free of profanity and vulgarity. We want the Company represented in a positive manner!
