The Life We Are Building At Home
July 12, 2026
Home is where the life I am building becomes visible. Not in one grand reveal, but in small choices repeated over time. What gets planted. What gets cooked. What gets cleared. What gets protected. What gets said honestly. What gets tended even when no one else sees it. I am learning that a beautiful life is not the same thing as a performed life. A performed life asks how it looks from the outside. A built life asks whether it is true, useful, loving, and steady on the inside.
That matters to me right now. I am practicing being more known while still being wise about what stays private. Botanic Living is part of that practice. It lets me share the values, rhythms, and choices behind the company without turning my whole life into public property. The garden, the porch, the kitchen, the books on the table, the meals we repeat, the people around the island: these are not separate from the bigger story. They are the story.
I want home to be the place where the life we are building can be honest, grounded, and ours.
With love and intention,
Jennifer
