What I Want July To Feel Like
July 1, 2026
July feels like the beginning. Not the beginning that arrives perfectly wrapped, with every loose end tied and every question answered, but the beginning that arrives after a long season of getting steady. It asks you to stand up, look around, and say, this is where we start. At home, I want July to feel deep into summer. Watermelon, popsicles, salads, barbecue, fireworks, and flags by the door. Red, white, and blue bunting because it feels cheerful and familiar, not complicated. In Texas, summer has a way of becoming the whole atmosphere, and the best thing we can do is meet it with water, shade, simple food, and people we love.
For Botanic, July feels like launch season. We have laid so much foundation, and nearly 600 distributors are already part of it. Products are arriving, sales are beginning, systems are being strengthened, and the work that has lived behind the scenes is becoming visible. I keep thinking about how beginnings are not always clean. Sometimes they are busy. Sometimes they are full. Sometimes they ask for courage before they offer confidence. But I still want to name this month as a threshold.
This July, I want to enjoy summer like a kid and build like someone who knows the foundation matters. I want to love on my family, keep things simple where I can, tend what is alive, and take the next steady step.
With love and intention,
Jennifer
