What I Am Learning To Let Be Enough
July 19, 2026
I am learning to let enough be enough. That does not mean lowering every standard or pretending things do not matter. It means recognizing that perfection did not protect me, serve me, or help me stay connected to myself. For a long time, I carried the pressure of being perfect at everything. Perfect in motherhood, marriage, business, doing the right thing, saying the right thing, and holding everything together. And I am learning that perfection can cost a person their own voice.
Enough is a different practice. Enough asks what is true. Enough asks what matters. Enough asks whether this choice is wise, useful, loving, and honest. Enough leaves room to be human. That is part of why Botanic Living matters to me. It is a place to practice being real without turning life into performance. It lets me share the lesson without sharing every private detail.
Enough is not giving up. Sometimes enough is the beginning of becoming honest.
With love and intention,
Jennifer
