Books On My Table This Month
July 23, 2026
The books on my table are there because they are shaping how I am thinking. That is what I want the Read pillar to be. Not a performance of impressive titles. A record of ideas that are becoming useful in real life. Right now, The Gifts of Imperfection is helping me think about authenticity, vulnerability, and what it means to let people see the real person behind the company. It feels connected to Botanic Living because this whole editorial world is a careful first step toward showing up more honestly in public.
There are also the kitchen books that are part of our weekly rhythm. Ken Forkish’s Flour Water Salt Yeast and The Elements of Pizza have become bread and pizza references in our house because everything John has made from them turns out beautifully. I like books that move from the page into the day. A sentence that changes how I lead. A recipe method that becomes Sunday pizza. An idea that makes me pay better attention.
That is the kind of reading I want to keep close: not reading to collect information, but reading to live differently.
With love and intention,
Jennifer
